Login using the Google button
You should then be navigated to Google sign in page or if your Google account is successfully synced, it should show up like below:
Connecting to Our Network
You need to be connected to our company network. You can connect to it using our VPN program called Cisco Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client.
This can be found in a number of places including your Dock, the Launchpad, and in the Applications folder via Finder. In the Applications folder, you locate the Cisco folder and it will be in there:
Once you launch the VPN software, the connection window will open. Enter our VPN address(vpn.blueantmedia.com) and click Connect.
Enter with your VPN credentials. If you don’t remember them, please make a helpdesk ticket and we can provide them to you.
Click OK.
You should be successfully connected to VPN now!
Opening and Adding a Server
Next, locate FileMaker 18. The new FileMaker icon is blue as opposed to the old pink/purple one.
This can also be found on the Dock, the Launchpad, and in the Applications folder via Finder. In the Applications folder, locate the FileMaker Pro 18 Advanced folder:
Once open, Locate Add App. It will be under the Favorites tab.
Click on Add App and select From Hosts…
Click on the Plus(+) and window will pop up to Add Favourite Host
Fill textboxes with the following information:
Click Save.
NOTE: You will run into an Unencrypted Connection warning at some point that looks like this:
Be sure to check off the Always permit connection to this host to avoid getting this warning. Click Connect.
Once you hit Save from Step 9, it will add the server into your Favourites and you can then choose from the various databases (i.e for CL Shows and Finance, you will want the Quarto CLM DB)
Going forward, these servers you add will be on your FileMaker homepage under Favorites.
Double-click on the database you need to access and you will be greeted with the usual login page.
For this example, we used Quarto:
Et Voila, you are done! Welcome to the new FileMaker :)
